Unspoken Prayer Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

Unspoken Prayer

Today someone asks 'please pray for me'
But I find I have no strength left to pray
The pain and burdens I have are so heavy
All of these drained me every single day.

My eyes are too tired to even shed a tear
My hands too limp to fold for a plea
But the call is so urgent, filled with fear
On my knees I have to do it, earnestly.

Like a soldier wounded, full of scars
I crawl with my sword to life's battlefield
A whisper made in prayer, may go so far
With a Faith, to Adversity, will not yield.

And when I saw the person's victory
Such relief in my anguish it managed to give
As I prayed for another God did bless me
My prayer unspoken but His answer, I received!

Very expressive, believing that prayer is answered though not spoken is faith! God sees not in words but in the heart!
