How gently the petals fall,
in my garden so silent and still.
How cheerful's the blackbirds call,
on this morning way high on the hill.

How splendid the sun shines on me,
with the heat of its glow on my face.
How precious my time seems to be
In this Wales that i love,
my home place.

How quickly the years have gone by,
I just blink and they fly like a bird.
Many memories bring tears to my eyes,
Poetry welcomes my words.

Forever you'll stay in my heart,
In the midst of my life you are near,
You're my guiding star,
Your my strength through those days filled with fear.

How can i ever forget,
Those days that we shared in the past.
I'll hold onto the good times for sure,
Till i see you again at last.
