There is a hole in our heart
and a sorrow in our soul
we miss your laughter
filling out the room
and look to that day
when we hear it again
you are away, but never lost
and always in our thoughts
when we meet again
and share the same old stories
remembering those days
with smiles and tears
such a hold will be filled
a soul raised back up
rest and be well our love
until we meet again
in thoughts and hearts
you shall always remain
