Oh how I long for a day
To see the sky so blue
To roll around in the wildflowers-
Just lie there, holding you.
Now my sky is forever gray
My wildflowers have all turned pale
And you are nowhere to be found
To save me from this hell.
I awaken from a fitful dream
Very nearly scared to death
Oh, how I long to be by your side-
And be soothed by your every breath.
