I wait in anticipation
For you to one day see
That I'm different on the inside-
Than I appear to be.
We've spoken on many Occasions,
Though you seem not to remember;
Now my love for you is a fire-
Started from a dying ember.
But I know I'm only dreaming
And my wish, it cannot be-
Therefore, I; m such a fool to think
That you could ever love me.
