Esra Sloblock

Untitled - Poem by Esra Sloblock

To love, and love without condition
To feel so deeply the very heart burns
To see that love not come to fruition
Yet that same heart continually yearns

A beauty that shines like a brilliant flare
A face that's ruled by eyes so deep
A softness and warmth beyond compare
With voice and touch to make me weep

Honest and caring to the highest degree
In your embrace all fears allay
You've shown me the man I strive to be
No other makes me feel this way

Mesmeric movements, such grace and elegance
The combination stirs my soul
With a shared strength and patience
I remain yours, this rock doesn't roll

A touching poem, Es. Great last line, too.
