Using A Blueprint Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Using A Blueprint

Originality introduced,
Is seldom appreciated.
And often degraded in negative ways,
By the very naysayers to have hated...
Something fresh and new.
Yet with time to pass,
Imitating they do.
With claims to make they too,
Are innovative and creative.
Done to plagiarize.
Hoping no one recognizes the disguise...
That many have become accustomed to using,
A blueprint not to produce...
Their creativity to introduce.

"Incredible.
How is it you are capable,
To capture such breath taking and vivid...
Familiar and stunning reality? !
With awesome unbelievable technique? "

-I can't take all the credit.
I guess I've been blessed,
To use my mind and eyes kept open.
And allowing my heart not to stray,
From my ability to research.-

"Research? "

-Yep!
A kept researching in my heart.
Only the soul to know it provides.-
