The men are walking in the long procession
And shouting the slogan,
"We are deprived,
We want our right; "
But astonishingly they lack true urgency in their demand,
It seems they are walking as they have to walk.
I know not from where they are coming
And where they are going,
But they have no real spirit,
Their eyes are dark and gloomy
And their soul is empty,
Is this the fault of this time?
I believe so.
Such men can never succeed,
They only wander in despondency.
