Vanishing Trace Poem by Amit Biswas

Vanishing Trace

Dissent doesn't prevent you from loving one!
Hate hardly contradicts love in social relation.

Personality disorder doesn't define one's character,
Though, refusal to get treated may turn you a predator.

To experience love, you need be able to love,
I can't sing or paint, like, everyone cannot love.

Inability to love doesn't make one bad,
But acting it out for benefits is surely sad.

If you got the ring, you would have got vermilion too,
Only if you ever deserved it, did you ever do?

Only time when you got them all, you dwindled,
Someone loved you and you thought you swindled,

You may hang on to the vanishing trace of vermilion,
And struggle for your sanity rest of life, all alone.
