Venerability Poem by Katherine Graven

Venerability

Rating: 5.0

In the mystery of my secret desires
Bringing into sight the unseen
Opened into my own yearning’s venerability
To discover life’s clandestine realization
About me…

The place I speak is of forbidden dreams
Never allowing the yearning to be full-filled
Can never be brought into destinies’ realization
Would only cause my own self-righteous termination…
And break realities seal

Daydreaming through tearful open eyes
Breaking through the barrier of crumbled fantasy walls
Only to find they where my on thoughts
Of solemn regrets with a vivid imagination
Without realities foundations to support my fall…

So… I turn my back on this enchanted journey
And face myself toward the wind
Take on the struggle of the day today
Forgetting,
Up on my own request,
About my foolish daydreams within…
