Venus And Moon Poem by sharon Genade

Venus And Moon

Venus and Moon
Moon - "Ninsi'anna. My Venus, my love, my lone morning star."
"How long have I been lingering in time and space, expectant for your immaculate embrace? "
Venus - "La Luna, Theia, mother of Earth and space, "
"Your dark face unseen by many, you are cold, dispassionate, desperate, suspended in blackness"
Moon - "I am lunacy, lunatic, longing, for your celestial body by my side"
"My Venus, my love, my evening star, you are my shortest days and longest nights, I am always longing to draw you in, closer to my gravity's skin"
"Come closer still, let me into your lovers embrace, let's kiss just once, before it's too late, you are drifting further away from me still"
Venus - "You are so close but yet so far, I sense your cold, deprived façade drawing me in"
"A million years has passed now, perhaps we are too late to even begin"
