I hope you remember me when I turn to dust,
Remember I had a soul too,
I liked to walk in the hills and speak of silly things,
I liked to make you smile by being a spoilt princess,
...

Mother, I just wanted to let you know, that I am home, HERE.

This place, this land, this mud and rock. I am sitting here and I am home.
...

I leave little pieces of me wherever I go,
Little impressions,
Imprints of me,
Tiny gestures,
...

The lonely train creeped slowly into platform 9.
One carriage, Llandudno it said.
It was old and tired, rust on its beaten body.
The green paint flecked off the exterior as it give one last sigh before stopping quietly.
...

The mask slipped today,
It fell into the toilet along with my putrid insidesโ€ฆ
It fell all over the wall and floor.
It smashed and fell deep into the bowl.
...

Don't be fooled by the stoic stance of a willow for it weeps more than you know,
All clustered around in randomness, it is not,
Roots cloistered in confusion, I think not,
Networking and pulsating, whispering on the breeze of pheromones,
...

Venus and Moon
Moon - "Ninsi'anna. My Venus, my love, my lone morning star."
"How long have I been lingering in time and space, expectant for your immaculate embrace? "
Venus - "La Luna, Theia, mother of Earth and space, "
...

Let me lay right beside you
For a little while
All you need do is smile
Allow me to taste all you have to offer
...

I loved you in the Wintertime,
It must have been the crispness of frost,
Or the scent of woodsmoke unfurling in the breath of frozen wind,
Perhaps it was the mood of melancholy, the darkness of day, or the shortness of light,
...

You said you have twenty - five summers left,
My heart slowed a little, it went quiet,
Twenty-five summersโ€ฆ. only Twenty Five.
So many I have missed with you and it made me sad inside,

I Hope You Remember Me

I hope you remember me when I turn to dust,
Remember I had a soul too,
I liked to walk in the hills and speak of silly things,
I liked to make you smile by being a spoilt princess,
I threw my toys out a lot; I liked it when we sang songs together,
And we went places together, the seaside and walks with dogs,
And bike rides,
I liked blowing bubbles,
And growing vegetables,
And chasing rabbits and talking to guinea pigs,
I was not very patient and quite selfish,
I did not like myself much until one day I did,
And then everything made sense,
Well most of it,
I met you and you met me and it was simply beautiful,
And I am grateful for this,
For sunsets and sunrises,
Little girly giggles and smelly teenage boy niggles,
And bonfires and little sweets,
And wine by the glass,
But mostly for you loving me as me,

Wow... As I read every word of each poem... My mind raced... I saw... I felt... I smelt... Absolutely amazing... Weldone... ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘
