👄 👄 ~ Verbal Plagiarism  ~

Rating: 5.0

Have you ever noticed during chatter,
In social conversations, of no matter.

When listening to the words attentively,
Your last words repeated, verbatim…unexpectedly!

Exploited by the chatterer, as if they were their own
Thoughts or opinions, and expressed in their tone.

Verbal plagiarism, that's what I like to label this,
Wondering now - is their brain just a mental abyss?

Lacking originality and ingenuity of any sort,
With irritating habits or ineptitude, they're a bit of a dork!

Ought I to be flattered, and my annoyance melt away?
My protest on verbal plagiarism… what do you think anyway?
