A soul, yours and mine... so what is it...
An ethereal entity? immortal? male, female or neither?
Celestial for sure... breathed into us by God, unique to you and me,
Appurtenant to each and everyone, living and hovering in our hearts.
Soul, an emotional intersection of our physical and spirit,
An energy, a life force, and our very essence,
Is it wise... is it helpful... can it impart sagacity?
Our little inner voice constantly whispering in our ears?
My name and soul are inextricably intertwined,
My heart's aware of my soul's longings though it may not reach my brain,
My soul sways and oscillates to the rhythm of my body's heartbeat,
Oscillations that may awaken an emerging spark of godly interest.
My soul silently carries this spiritual spark and perhaps follows through,
Daily my soul observes and learns in my life's journey and expectations,
Expectations that were ordained in the womb, and years later will emerge,
Am I a new soul or an old resurrected soul, a question often comes to mind.
