Verbal Poison Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Verbal Poison

Caught up in self destruction.
And fed on self deduction.
Seduced by a doing of evil.
That is enjoyed with love.
Using verbal poison.

They're caught up in a teaching of hate.
And using themselves as bait.
With a love.
For using verbal poison.

They scream from their own inflictions.
And suffer from panic attacks.
They blame others for their undoing.
While stabbing each other in the back.
With a love.
Infused by verbal poison.

They choose to nit pick quick.
Looking where to stir up more conflict.
Although their minds are sick.
But they can't refuse doing evilness.
Not with such love,
To use verbal poison.
Spewed from venom tongues.
And selecting one another to do this done.

Screaming from their own inflictions.
And addicted to panic attacks.
Too attracted to enact self hatred.
With a love of doing that.
To each other.
Not to know they may not recover.
From what they do.
To one another.

Caught up in self destruction.
And using verbal poison to do it.
Not to know,
From this they may not recover.

They scream from their own inflictions.
And suffer from panic attacks.
While stabbing each other in the back.
With a love,
For using verbal poison.
While stabbing each other in the back.
With a love,
For using verbal poison.
While stabbing each other in the back.
And suffering from panic attacks.
While stabbing each other in the back
And suffering from panic attacks.
With that verbal poison.
While stabbing each other in the back.
To poison.
