Very Existence - Poem by Hasmukhlal Amathalallal
Life is dear to all
But we need to respond to call
It poses no threat
Only we need to greet smilingly
Why do we wait form outside help?
It amounts to receiving slap
How shall we look towards?
With promises so hollow with words
We know weather God is not favorable
It adds unbearable torture and compels to struggle
What can we do to monsoon?
It makes to sweat more in noon
We have lost no hope
But life stops
At some point
Farmers commit suicide
No support is forthcoming
The misery is looming large
We have no option but to end
Very existence that we consider as friend
