Vicious, Tremendous, Almost Chronicled Poem by Raj Dronamraju

Vicious, Tremendous, Almost Chronicled

I know your sister won't talk to any of your friends
Even after you excelled on your own
And won prizes and accomplished things

I am the immovable signpost of memory, fixed forever
Not because of love or any touching/feeling emotions or hate or any damaged feelings
But because I am the custom-made personality, completely built from scratch
Intellect and originality scale the prison wall together in a daring escape

I know your sister has already been made hard by working full-time
All the joy sucked out of her by car payments and other indentured gestures to responsibility
She always rolls her eyes and slams the door if she sees we are around

You might try to explain who I am
Eccentric people are conversation tricks
And bragging rights for a life of interest

Vicious and tremendous, this encounter will be recorded orally only
Passed around to folk of similar class and condition
This was not an affair but a random interaction with inspiration
