Victor My Muse Poem by Charlotte Ambrosia

Victor My Muse

Lilac petals of winters fall,
And to the blind whose seen it all.

For the sailors destination reached
To the second chance still being beseeched.

To the right that was left and still in search,
For the bible less sermon preached in church.

For all the troubles and the schemes,
To all the dreamers of the dreams.

To the times that life was filled with doubt,
For the children who had it all figured out.

To the truth that we will never tell,
For the lies we always choose to sell.

For the nights that we have spent apart,
To the dreams of the future held close to our hearts.

(For when the dream has yet been dreamt,
And the thought had not been kept.)

To the differences that others find,
For the praise of being colorblind.

For the pain that will never stray.
To the love that surpasses our dying day.

For all the tragic nights that met the dawn,
To the fights where nothing was actually wrong.

This of course will bring the tears,
Which breaks our hearts and feeds our fears.

And lessons learned are really none,
But we convince ourselves that there must be at least one.

When you finally fall to slumber.
you will close your eyes and think of a love of which we still encumber.

I will think of you and let it flow,
With all the things I will one day know.

Sometimes I wonder if this euphoria is true,
For if it is not my heart will turn French blue.

Through the tears and all the lies,
May we never once consider our last goodbyes.

Victor all these words are an emotionless speech,
Sadly the expressions I feel are out of reach.

Through you life’s meaning has opened its eye,
Considered it’s logic and gives me another try.

Maybe this rhyme will open you a portal,
At least for your inspiration, lies a beauty immortal.
