(For the poetic nuggets on warehouse shelves in Danaé Écarlate's notebook: at the moment of sharing, they become part of an ephemeral context.)
... ... ... ... ... ... ...
Someone who accumulated a private reserve
meets someone who squeezes flavors out of a moment.
Is there not a certain rotational symmetry in this?
In any case a self-repairing wound is the necessary focal point,
so consciousness can swim in its own currents.
Being hungry to repair the dichotomy of its own split,
the wound sucks in antinomies of all colors.
Mixed metaphors are the foam of its wake
as it churns the laminar gradients of temperature and oxygen.
Its agitation marks an end to their non-reactivity;
its ferment makes the lushness of coastal waters possible.
