Violets On Cobblestone Poem by Riza Braholli

Violets On Cobblestone

Violets on cobblestone

The blue curtain waves in wind,
Brightly glowing in the dusk;
Waiting here, I am pinned
With the patience of a monk.

Under windows all day long,
Stoned and stilled on cobblestone;
Couldn't see you, sight be gone
Sparkling eye crazes me on.

Is it you, or wind blows on?
Or the flap of birds that grieve? !
Once, as if to say 'Come on',
Then, as if to say 'Do leave'.

In the dusk the curtain shakes,
Besides wind, nothing outdoor,
Pitter-patter of dripping taps,
As if saying: 'she's no more! '

The blue curtains wave in wind
Violets shake on cobblestone.
Waiting here, I am pinned,
I, your eye, still burning on.
