Visions Poem by Ronald Chapman

Visions

As you spread your love through time,

Allowing me to see visions of
Your remarkable and troubled past,

By raising my head and looking at you,
I have seen a miracle being born,

A miracle rise through fire, pain and with courage,
Looking at your beauty sets my heart on fire,

That brightens my life,
And warms my Soul every day,

Allowing me sleep and dream of you,

I know time can move so slow, as slow as watching a city grow,
It seems tomorrow will never come,

But true love is a Miracle of its own;
Like a bright blazing Sun at Dawn,
After a cold winter snow storm,
That warms our hearts,

After that June day,
Thousands of days have past,
I still have an unending passion for you,

I raise my head at Dawn and look, as the blazing Sun carries,
Your love to me,
Far from the East.
