Voicewithin Poem by Emmanuel Karikoga

Voicewithin

Can somebody grab me a piece of paper and a ball-point pen,
There is a message that keeps coming;
From a voice that has siezed control of every thought in my brain.
It gets louder and louder the more I try to ignore,
And the message becomes indecipherable and strong.
So I'm taking this time to capture every detail and punchline,
From a voice that speaks within.

Sometimes it mumbles...!
Softly and sometimes in a weird aggressive manner,
Encompassed with a sturdy ability to revamp my mood or temper.
It speaks through me, like a mysterical messenger from a deity,
With a stunning message, that takes control of emotions,
Making it entirely impossible to ignore its effect on my conscience.

It utters a hidden message, best decoded through paper and pen,
That result in creation of scripts captured as the message was being said.
So clearly...!
I do not speak for myself, but I am just a mere messenger,
I do not create nor design the phrases cause I'm just an ordinary writer.
Take your time to appreciate or critisize,
But....!
This is just a VoiceWithin.
