Voting For A Felon Poem by Randy McClave

Voting For A Felon

You're voting for a felon
You're buying what he's sellin',
You don't care what he had sold
Or the lies that he has told.
He's getting your faithful vote
Even after what he had said and wrote,
You're voting for him with your honor and pride
Even when democracy, was not on his side.

You're voted for a felon
That's what you're screaming and yellin',
You don't care of his crime
And you don't care that he'll do time.
Him you will always support
Even when he's found guilty again in court,
Even after all the crimes he has committed
He'll get your vote, you proudly admitted.

You're voting for a felon
That's what you're shouting and tellin',
You don't care if he goes to jail
And you said patriotically you would post his bail.
You don't care that he's charged with 34 felony counts
To the world you did announce,
You don't care that he has raped, bullied, cheated, lied and caused bedlam
You announce that you will always support him.

You're voting for a felon
Maybe because of his small hands and orange melon,
You believe all the goodness that he has said
And you believe all that he's spoke he read.
You believe all is the truth that he tells you
That he's a genius and he know's more than what anyone else knew
So, he has your vote with your pride and your devoutness swellin'
But, remember this, the Devil too is a felon.
