You feel there's a connect
between our tolerances
of wage disparities and increasing surveillance
and want to find it
and express it in a poem
because a poem convinces best.
You don't know what's diluting the math
that makes it blatantly obvious
that something has to be done
about wage differentials
to arrest disquiet.
You do know
that self-preservation
is diluting what has to be done
about too much information.

I would like to translate this poem
does anyone besides me (AND THE POET) notice a little rhyming in the last stanza.. i REALLY believe i DID notice it before writing my first great comment, but [i'm old] i guess i forgot about the rhyming i'd read. yes, daddy would be proud of Douglas, a true poet (if one looks hard enough!) . hee hee but seriously, i have read some fine poems which have had NO rhyming. but i'm just a rhyming fool in my poems; it truly seems to help me compose, and quickly. bri :)
