'Wait! Wait! ' Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

I met a young painter
In the busy railway station,
He was painting something obscure,
Being inquisitive,
I asked him,
'What are you painting? '
He answered me with a smiling face,
'Wait! Wait! '
I began to wait,
After a long time......
He said to me,
'Here it is; '
I stared at his painting for a while and understood that
The young painter had brilliantly painted a lonely railway station,
It was absolutely lonely,
Being surprised,
When I asked him the reason,
He wisely answered,
'Actually it's my sincere endeavour for the first time
To concentrate and delineate a lonely and tranquil world
In the midst of a busy and noisy arena.'
