~ Waiting ~ Poem by Ally Tenebrae

~ Waiting ~

Waiting and Waiting
For some kind of response
I hug my knees and bite my nail
I thought true love was always suppose to prevail
But it hasn't and I'm lost
What will be the final cost?

Waiting and Watching
I stood by my window
Waiting to hear you tap

Tap upon the glass
I swear I'll let you in
Im waiting
Im watching
For the fun to begin

I need you now more then ever
Surely I can't wait forever
The tear rolls from my cheek
What I'd give just to hear you speak
My heart wrenches
And my chest aches
Is this really what love takes?

Make it stop it hurts to much
I need you to be my crutch
I'll lay my head on your shoulder
And cry not fight
All I want is to be with you tonight

'I need you to be my crutch' That phrase just suddenly hit me when I read it. I thought it was the smartest thing to compare 'him' to a crutch. Someone to help you through the pain, the tears, the screams, and the sorrow. From 13 yr. old to another, keep writing what your mind thinks, wants, and dies for. Whatever it wants you to write, type, and than present it to the public! :)
