Waiting For Italian Food Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Waiting For Italian Food

N-ever let the night remain,
A-s the morn is about to break;
J-ust let the twilight end,
D-awn comforts the ache.
I-t's a beautiful Thursday,
N-o more haze and mist;
E-arly breeze February second blows a birthday kiss.

C-old chill and raindrops
A-re nowhere in sight;
R-ise of the sun begins,
L-etting your eyes see the light.
O-pen your heart to mirth, having a delightful mood;
S-ilently you are patient, waiting for Italian food.
