Waiting For You Poem by Linda Barnes

Waiting For You

Have you ever wondered
What it's like
To kiss a woman
And know it's right

Seeing her from afar
Hoping she will look back
Or sauntering her way
And hope she doesn't move away

To kiss her for the first time
Slowly and measured
Waiting for that spark
Igniting the hearts

Passion escapes those
Who do not wait
For that moment
When life speaks

I'm that woman
That you seek
Just notice me
As I am waiting for you
