Waiting On Delivery Poem by Richard Wlodarski

Waiting On Delivery

I don't only
Really wanna free
Those so damn lonely
In times of my misery

I wanna be able to smile
At their newly-found Gomer Pyle
To laugh at such corny jokes
Without marijuana tokes

I wanna be able to see
Beyond Bobby Darin's sea
Be able to light the damn fire
Of Jim Morrison's found desire

I don't only
Really wanna try
To just satisfy
Mick and Keith's justify

I wanna be able to laugh
At the sympathy for the devil
Knowing that we're at ground level
Waiting to be The Saviour's staff
