-waiting Through The Seasons- Poem by Cory Jensen

-waiting Through The Seasons-

I'll miss the spring
A world full of new life
I'll be the singing birds
The rays on your skin;
Budding flowers you pass by
Waiting for the day
You come find me.

I'll miss the summer
Full of pretty things
I'll be the whispers
Among the grass
Hiding in the trees
Waiting for you
To find me.

I'll miss the fall
With all the colors
I'll be the shadows
The frost on the leaves;
Rivers rolling lazily.
Waiting for the day
You find me.

I'll miss the winter
A world full of fragile things
I'll be the snowflakes
The glimmer of the sun
Ice that dangles
Always waiting
For the day you are with me.
