Walk On Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Walk On

Walk on

My sisters, brothers
-Caravan's children
-keep walking to become
-the mythic Thunderbird…

Am not in politics
-do not have any wish
-but I am human.
-Have had much travels
-on tools and vehicles
-was part and did witness
-several ups and downs.

Have been, seen
-what become
-once in while
-the news…

Have seen the fallen, hurt
-from horse, and plane
-and still believer
-in pride, dignity…

Have read of women who
-killed in mass suicide
-to remain respected;
-not slaved, nor be raped…

Have seen the hungry
-punching on own tummy
-be distanced of asking
-somebody for mercy.

So, sisters, brothers
-keep walking to reach the
-wall and face the bullets;
-with blood write poem:
- "We too, are human
-and deserve love, respect;
-Down with the filthy rich,
-vampire and hoarder! "
