V-igorously walk the line,
E-arly twenty-eighth of July;
R-emain loyal to the Lord
G-od Almighty in the sky.
E-agerly walk the line, behave in a good manner;
L-et not your walk go amiss, making your life much brighter.

E-arnestly walk the line,
C-ontrol your heart and mind;
L-et your whole life leave
A-ll the wickedness behind.
R-efrain from sinful deed,
I-niquity and evil sign;
N-ever ever go astray,
A-s you walk the
L-ine.
