Walk The Walk Poem by David Darbyshire

Walk The Walk

Rating: 5.0

All people walk different
It's like their finger print
Some have a funny walk
These we sould never mock!

I see people on the Street
Some following their own feet
It seems their feet know were to go
But their body doesn't want to know

Others, their feet trail behind them
As if to say, ' I haven't got a brain stem'
Some jog all day, always Run
You stay fit and it's Fun

Others walk real Slow
Like they just don't want to go
I mean I know a guy with one Leg
That can hop faster on his Peg

But walking in the green is best
people do not know, we are blessed
Breath that lovely fresh air, In
Better than any stinky Gym

Everyone should go for a Walk
also sit on a park bank and talk
If your stuck in the house, like a 'Bump on a Log'
Just go out and buy a nice little fluffy Dog

P.S. Don't forget the 'Pooper Scooper'

You got a smile out of me with the line 'Better than any stinky Gym.' Fun to read. I can't help but think I will notice how everyone walks tomorrow after reading your poem. :) Sincerely, Connie Webb
