Walk With Me Poem by Sarah Persson

Walk With Me

Rating: 5.0

I don't quite know you,
Yet here you stand,
Reaching out to me,
Take my hand.
I'll walk you down,
One road today,
You may well find
A very different way.
My steps are sure,
Yet you walk slow,
Afraid of what you'll
Get to know.
Child's eyes are clear,
Trusting heart is true,
May I teach you child?
I was once like you.
