So much to say,
But no words to speak,
So much to see,
But eyes that can't seek.
So much to hear,
But ears that are closed,
Feelings are open,
Yet nothing's exposed.
Cry without tears,
But no heart to feel,
Express without senses,
No emotions to reveal.
Walk without footsteps,
No legs to take stride,
A mind to think clearly,
Yet so much to hide.
Young with an old mind,
Strong and yet frail,
Breathe deep unrelenting,
And slowly exhale.
Cry without tears, But no heart to feel, Express without senses, No emotions to reveal. Walk without footsteps, No legs to take stride, A mind to think clearly, Sooo much to hide....... very revealing poem. one has to read your poems many times to understand the real sense. tony
Thank you Tony, I'm pleased you took the time to read my poem, your comments appreciated
A nice poem with an appropriate caption. The last stanza is truly captivating.
Unrevealing, yet so much revealed in the last stanza. Most intelligently created these feelings of depression and released our deepest inside finally, at last the world would know. Spiritual journey that sets our soul free. Amazingly worded. I so admire thy words. A 10 and more vote, Most precious utterance, Sarah.
Sylvia thank you so much for your comments, you flatter and I'm humbled by your words. Thank you
