Walking On The Train Tracks Poem by Charlotte Andreski

Walking On The Train Tracks

Rating: 5.0

You see me
Walking on a train track
Hips swayin'
Music playing
a rhythm to my beat

Happy face on
dancing all along
waltzing this feat
or is it

'Cuz you're in the distance
And can't you see
the truth of my swaying,
the actual grimace
that plagues upon me

When the night falls
I'll still be walking
looking for the train
the fate
to run over me

I'll see the light
hear the blarin'
My bones'll be vibrating
the rumbles
But keep walking, I will

On the train track
Into the train
No more worry
No more pain

On the train track
Off the train track
Here goes me
