Wallflower Poem by Arb Rudi

Wallflower

Rating: 4.3

A lonely flower,
standing on the edge of the pot.
Looking at how the others,
are having fun.

Always wondering,
why it can't look like the others.
When it's time,
for a boisterous reunion.

It never leaves the shadows,
as if it wants to, it can't be seen.
The others keep on saying don't mind it,
'cause it will always remain a wallflower.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Just because I'm an wallflower, it doesn't mean that I don't care & don't have feelings..

A flower is a flower and will always be beautiful. The flower must feel it's own beauty inside and not depend on someone to tend to it. But the feeling I'm getting from the poem is that it is feeling deprived and unimportant. Good start..keep writing.
