Wanting A Happily Ever After Poem by Randy McClave

Wanting A Happily Ever After

I wanted a woman to be my crafter,
To shape my mind and my soul
As one we would be made whole,
I would have my happily forever after.

She would be my partner and my mate,
We would be joined together as one
Our love would always continue on,
She would be my everlasting fate.

She would be the woman that I had desired,
The woman of my ultimate thought
To with whom I want to tie the knot,
The woman who I deeply admired.

I want a woman to cherish and to love,
To hold and to always care for
To praise and to always adore,
And to fit me and my personality like a glove.

She would be my truest inspiration,
She would be the reason why I do live
And the reason why I do help and give,
I would become her creation.

She would always be in my tomorrow,
And I would always be her today
In both our journey of work and play,
Never would we ever feel any sadness or sorrow.

I wanted a happily forever after,
With the one truest love of my life
The woman who proudly I would call wife,
But, all that I got was her laughter.
