Wanting Truth (Conversation) Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Wanting Truth (Conversation)

You, me and others too!
Have got to give the truth,
Conversation.
With interest given undenied.
To know no one should believe,
There is nothing more to learn.
Or sit to listen just to criticize.

Everyone who comes,
Wanting truth to wish to get.
Should never be ignored.
Or dismissed from hearing it.
Everyone who comes,
Wanting truth to wish to get.
Is done with living life to live deluded.

You, me and others too!
Have got to give a truth,
Conversation.
No one should believe,
They know more than another.
With their druthers to demean.
Or interrupt what is said.
Without thinking to use their head.

Everyone who comes,
Wanting truth to hear...
In conversation done.
Is there to learn and share,
With others caring to listen.
Only those who come,
Wishing their opinions heard.
With them given not disturbed.
Stay deluded and confused,
As if meant to be intended.
Either to defend or leave offended.
