Wants And Wishes Dreamed Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Wants And Wishes Dreamed

Who is it,
That has been freed.
From wants and wishes dreamed.
Who is it,
That has not been teased.
By temptations to ignore them.
Or left to leave to go unexplored.

Adventuring the unknown,
Is what those who pioneer...
Make steps done to move forward.
With no perception of themselves like this.
It's that kept desire felt inside.
Only they identify to be real and exist.

And that urge to crave,
Stays to never leave.
As an effort to endeavor,
What others may believe to be...
A fool attempting to accomplish,
An impossibility.
But one fed with a vision,
Without self doubt to feel it near.
Continues on.
Dismissing the many moons and dawns.
Suns to rise and them to set.
To eventually accomplish and achieve,
The possible.
Done.
With lots of faith.
And fear less to worship.
Wherever others claim they know it to be.
Or expecting to receive to hear from them,
Charitable comments...
Once before to have been negative.

Wants and wishes dreamed.
May take time to come.
To realize them done.
But one's faith to keep.
Enduring through,
What others perceive for them impossibilities.
Perhaps for them they are just that.
But one's wants and wishes,
To dream them alone.
Are seldom shared with others.
Awaiting their approval.
Or an acceptance to have condoned.
