War Causes Death: Horrific Deaths Poem by Terence George Craddock

War Causes Death: Horrific Deaths

War does not only cause death
the mutilation of young male bodies
torn apart sacrificed to causes political wars

the mutilation of civilians
the old young babies
men women children

destruction of property homes
hospitals infrastructure essential
energy clean water supplies

war is a curse
inflicted upon conflict
war torn countries

a civilized world
would not fund
wars with 80 billion

90 billion pledged
yearly for a single war
agenda priority war

war would be outlawed
resources spent on improving lives
for all people all countries

for all citizens of this world
if people really cared
about peace loved peace

hated war
despised war
outlawed war

Ukraine would
already be at peace
enjoying peace

a few farmers in fields growing wheat
instead of soldiers living in trenches
living in bunkers fighting dying in war

war does not only cause death pain scary
the destruction of freedom lives property
it causes suffering food shortages poverty
