War Expenses Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

War Expenses

War expenses

There are mines in Panjshir, I have seen
Ahmad Shah sold their jewels in Paris
The income ran the war.

Lashgargah was a base, Taliban’s
They gathered the opium; exported heroine
The income ran the war.

In Chaco, wells of gas, and of oil
Enriched shell, Standard
The income ran the war.

ISIS is in Iraq, Syria
Sells antiques and the oil to Europe
The income runs the war.

Too much oil in deserts
US made airplanes, Saudi, and allies
That income runs the war.

Who can be the involved?
What?
What?
What?
Poet shut up, or be shot.
