War Mongers Who Kill Prophets Of Peace Poem by Terence George Craddock

War Mongers Who Kill Prophets Of Peace

a scientific analysis
blunt rocks
cause bruises

sharp rocks cuts
leaving blood trails
after a lovely

stoning one
of the war lovers
was heard

to say to another
'the world is a better
place rejoice another

peace lover
is dead
the only good

peacemaker
is a dead
peace maker'

true said another
war monger
but what I cannot

understand

is who would
dream build
a statue to peace

here to spoil
this place
of beautiful statues

to war both stood silent

for a while
then both left
for their homes

to watch yet
another media justified
promoted war somewhere

in Europe the Middle East
while in that far away country
mothers cried as their precious

beloved child sons died
