War The Nature Of The Beast: Buzz Saw Killing Poem by Terence George Craddock

War The Nature Of The Beast: Buzz Saw Killing

war blasts burns bitter cruel
due to the nature of the beast
war state organized hate fuel
is machine industrialized indifferent

to who or what
gets killed
to who or what
gets dice killed

bullets
buzzing
stinging
dicing

are indifferent
to friend or foe ethics;
rifles will indiscriminate
kill whatever gets

in front of bullets
fired enemy
fired friendly
fired misidentified

targets in kill
zone die
grenades mortars
artillery shells rockets;

will kill
mutilate lives
within their kill zone

soldiers civilians
men women children caught
in kill range beaten zone die
