Warmth Poem by Cigeng Zhang

Warmth

Rating: 5.0

Piercingly cold night will soon be over
After a stormy snow, day is back with flower
In my dream reserved the infinite tenderness
Can't wait to open my window - release my regards

Great piece, short but full of feelings and a study in contrasts. The poem successfully reflects the physical warmth as well as that from the heart. Love your 3rd line...real classy!

Reserving the tenderness that shines to be infinite in its experience. i am prone to jump to my window to open to enjoy the beauty of coloured leaves and its softness although winter is just gone. beautiful poetic expressions of intense desire and intimacy. thank you dear poetess

In my dream reserved the infinite tenderness - what a golden line of poetry! Wang Wei is nodding his head and smiling, too! The opening line makes the reader think immediately of physical warmth on a cold night. But the drift of poem reveals EMOTIONAL warmth which you convey subtly throughout. There is already a spring season springing forth inside of us as we open that window with you and see flowers!
