Warning! nuclear Winter. Poem by Tor Magnor Solvang

Warning! nuclear Winter.

April '26, the news it flies,
A worried hum beneath the skies.
The International Desk reports,
Of shadowed fears and rising cohorts.

Scientists and soldiers say,
A danger grows with each new day.
Of nuclear fire, a deadly rain,
That chills the earth with lasting pain.

A 'nuclear winter, ' stark and cold,
A story whispered, yet untold.
Harvard experts share their dread,
A future fragile, hope instead.

No longer just a distant thought,
The climate changed, a battle fought
And lost, before it truly starts,
With broken futures, broken hearts.
