world imaginative
post apocalyptic
dust beholds
flesh
incarnadined
sunset
rust eroded
patina patterned
cities decayed
pink baked baby flesh
not phoenix firebird arisen
from apocalypse ash ruins
approaching exploring
a sea incarnadined
out beyond red-dust
realm where pride
spent past iron undone
by weak acid salt
is sterile ribs
etched time;
shadows haunt
silent walking past
ruins memory wasteland
dancing dust devils
humanity
eternity is free
to stretch
toward an infinity
of possibilities
unbothered by
metabolic nuclear waste
sludge as firebird is birth born
unblemished from choking
stirred lake of fire
cauldron bubbling
lost souls soups
will stirring music
played on bone flutes
holes smooth drilled
sunset serenade
flesh bonfire warmed
bodies clan sitting
in primeval darkness
