Watchfully - Lincoln Park Zoo Poem by Ima Ryma

Watchfully - Lincoln Park Zoo

I watch a bunch of kids of mine,
My daughters three and my sons two.
For this gorilla Dad all's fine
Here at home in Lincoln Park Zoo.
My kids all know where I am at,
And each one knows they're safe and sound
Wherever in the habitat,
Knowing that Dad is close around.
Watching five kids at the same time
I take very seriously.
A watchful Dad I know that I'm
Being the best dad I can be.

I am always a watchful Dad,
The best job that I ever had.
