Watching Like A Hawk Poem by Lauren Coles

Watching Like A Hawk

Society is not like it used to be,
People have to go to sleep with one eye open,
Parents need to keep their eyes on their kids,
They might turn their back for one minute and then they don't know if they are going to get to tuck them into bed at night,
It's a parent's worst nightmare,
That's why it's important to have a buddy system.
Kids hate curfews but it's a safety issue,
In these desperate times calls for desperate measures.
