A tree cries out in pain
While we uproot a memory
Slowly gathering limbs
Contagious we all celebrate
The exhausted day fades into flickers
Of light which fold in the fray
While we fall prey to the darkness
That consumes each one of us
Dusk to night time grey skies
Collect The glowing embers of fate
While we stoke the flame to the sound
Of mother natures mourning
A young one listens closely
As a sage turns the page
Anticipations clear, you see he waits
While watching weary shadows sway
Phantoms stir the restless
While the world forgets the day
What we couldn't fathom's happened
Because the night we can't escape

Phantoms stir the restless While the world forgets the day What we couldn't fathom's happened Because the night we can't escape For every dark and troubled night there is a day of sunny rest..................10
